On Friday, June 29, 2012, Comprehensive Youth Services of Fresno, Inc. will offer a day-long workshop on Law & Ethics for the Mental Health Provider, presented by Dr. Lisa Scott-Lee. This course will provide an Ethics “Refresher” for mental health providers. In addition to discussions on responding to common ethical dilemmas, topics will include Informed Consent, Confidentiality, Mandated Reporting Laws and HIPAA.
The workshop will be held on June 29, 2012 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Woodwark Park Regional Library, 944 E. Perrin, Fresno, CA 93720. Lunch will be on your own (12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m.). This course meets the qualifications for 6.5 hours of CEU’s for LMFTs and/or LCSWs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. (Approval Number PCE 3096)
